Here's How to Enter:

Just upload a video of your room or dorm. Give us a tour and tell us what you like best about your space, and what makes it completely yours.

Video Requirements:

We'll accept your uploaded video or original tape, either miniDV or miniDVC format, or a DVD with the unedited video file as either a .mov or a .mp4 file. Please Note: We can't accept authored DVDs — like those made in iDVD — or Windows Media Player (.wmv) files.*

Videos should be no longer than 5 minutes. We will edit your video, if chosen, to less than 2 minutes long.

Tell Us About Yourself

Remember to give us your first name on camera. To protect your privacy, no last name, address or any other contact information may be mentioned on your video.

Tell Us About Your Room

Remember to be detailed when you're describing what you love so much about your room or what makes your dorm so great.

Don't Be Shy

Be sure to turn the camera on yourself a few times so we know just who you are.

Hold Steady

Try to keep your camera steady as you talk about each part of your room.

Shhh...

We want to be able to hear you as clearly as possible, so be sure that all radios, TVs, computers and games are turned off so that there is no noise in the background.

What Not to Wear

Avoid wearing white or striped clothing. This will prevent blurred colors and "glowing" on screen.

*If you are under 13 years old, you may only submit your video using the mail-in method of entry. The online method of entry is not available to people under 13 years old.
