With a lifelong goal of helping others, 17-year-old Patrick is off to a great start. He serves as a volunteer teen attorney for the city of Plano, Texas, helping teenagers who've committed misdemeanors get through the court system with as much support as possible. Patrick represents teens before a volunteer judge and jury and works to help reach a fair community service sentence for his client.

Patrick's passion for mentoring other teens means he spends as much time as possible serving as a volunteer attorney, helping struggling teens find solutions to their problems. Because of his dedication, Patrick was selected to be a part of the North Texas Teen Attorney Competition along with winning the award for the best new attorney in the program.

Patrick also serves as the President of Teen CONTACT, a branch of the national CONTACT Organization, where he helps put the word out about teen suicide. He's in charge of teen volunteers, runs monthly meetings, and organizes fundraisers and events to raise awareness about teen suicide, depression and its prevention. Patrick has been Volunteer of the Month for Teen CONTACT and was recently nominated for Volunteer of the Year through the entire CONTACT organization.

Along with his work in the community, Patrick maintains a high grade point average and is a member of the National Honor Society. It's clear that Patrick has what it takes to reach his goal of helping others.

Congratulations Patrick!
