Kelly's passionate commitment to environmental sustainability is at the center of this collection. When it comes to making the planet a healthier place, he says, everyone can play a role. "We only have one planet. We need to make a better future for all of us, which starts with realizing where we are now. Anyone can go out there and change the world."
Developing the collection with Pottery Barn Teen was an inspiration to Kelly. "I'm really honored and proud to be involved with Pottery Barn Teen," he said. "We used recycled, repurposed and sustainable materials in creating this line, which was really important to me. I'm still blown away by the depth and level of thoughtfulness that went into the creation of this collection."
After a long day of surfing, you might find Kelly hanging out in the Latitude Lounger. "It's super comfortable, and I can see myself falling asleep in front of the TV in it every night," he said. "Honestly, it's hard for me to say what I love most!"
Being in the water has always been an integral part of Kelly's life. "I grew up in the ocean, so it feels like home," he said. "For me, surfing is about being harmonious with nature and in tune with the ocean. My love for the ocean and nature is the same today as it was back when I started."
The three words that sum up Kelly's view on life? Love, understanding and acknowledgement. "I think it's important to be who you are, and to be aware of how that affects the world and the people around you."
