1. Label Your Things

If you're traveling by plane, tagging your luggage is a helpful idea. It's easier to identify and return to you if it has your name and contact number on it. The same is true if you travel with a group; this keeps your friends in your group from getting your things confused with theirs. Because tags can fall off, consider using monogrammed or personalized bags and luggage so you always know what's yours.

2. Keep Items in a Safe Place

Many hotels have safes in the rooms for storing your valuables, so why not use them? Rather than carrying lots of cash or credit cards with you when you go out, keep some of it in the safe before leaving. This way, if anything is lost, you'll still have all the backup you need. If you carry a backpack while exploring a new city, consider locking the zipper to keep everything you're carrying secure.

3. Leave Extra Room in Your Suitcase

While it can be tempting to pack several extra outfits, it's a good idea to pack light. When you're carrying your luggage, taking one bag is a lot easier to handle. You can plan out your wardrobe in advance so you know which extra accessories you'll leave at home instead. And, try not to pack your suitcase to the brim before you head out on your adventure. Leave some extra space to pack souvenirs!

4. Choose Comfortable Style

Spring break is a time to kick back, relax and have a great time. Pack clothing and accessories that you're comfortable walking around in and wearing all day. Being comfortable is always stylish! Also, be sure to leave valuable accessories, like jewelry and handbags, at home, and pack your comfiest broken-in shoes if you plan to do a lot of walking – your feet will thank you!

5. Stay Safe on the Road

If your spring break destination is close enough to drive, it's important stay safe on the road. Rotate drivers and take frequent stops to ensure everyone stays alert. The front seat passenger should also stay awake to have an extra set of eyes on the road. If it's a long road trip, back seat passengers can pack pillows and take naps so they'll be refreshed and ready to take over the wheel when it's time to rotate.

Of all the spring break travel tips, the most important is to have fun. This is the ideal time to go on an adventure and make memories! With a little planning and preparation, you're sure to have a relaxing, enjoyable time.
